Lumpia Shanghai with Cheese

















Ingredients:

* 1/2 kilo ground pork/beef
* 3 tbsp oyster sauce
* 1/2 cup radish
* 1 onion cut into small pices
* 1/8 cup kintsay in small cut
* 1 clove garlic cut in small pieces
* pepper and salt to taste
* 1 egg
* lumpia wrapper
* 1/2 cup grated cheese
* 1/2 cup grated carrots

added: garlic powder, onion powder, paprika,pepper

Procedure:

Step 1

In a bowl put the ground pork/beef, oyster sauce, pepper, salt, cheese, kintsay, carrots, onion, garlic, radish, garlic powder, onion powder,paprika and egg. MIx the ingredients thoroughly. Its much better if it already blends for the taste would be equally good. Be sure to fry a little before putting it all in the wrapper to have a taste so that you can adjust it to your own liking

Step 2

Marinade or set it aside for about 20-30 minutes so the ingredients would blend equally.

Step 3

In a flat plate put the lumpia wrapper then put a tablespoon of the mixture then flatten it. Be sure to have a good roll so it would be equally cooked

Step 4

Prepare a pan with oil. Its better to deep fry the lumpia to ensure that it would be cooked nicely

Step 5

Serve it with dippings of your choice either with sweet chili sauce, catsup, soy sauce, vinegar or lemon juice

Teriyaki Chicken









Teriyaki Chicken: (Japanese style)

Ingredients:

Chicken Breast fillet skinless
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 cup soysauce (less sodium)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup dry sherry wine (or sweet rice wine or sweet sake)
1 tbsp grated ginger
Garlic powder (or minced fresh garlic)
Pepper
1/2 tbsp cornstarch (dissolved in 1 tbsp water)
sesame seeds (optional)

How to cook:

1. lightly fry the chicken until color turns white without the pink color

2. take the chicken out of the pan and remove some oil. Mix soysauce, sherry, brown sugar, ginger, garlic powder and pepper.

3. pour the mixture in pan then boil with medium heat while stirring constantly Once starting to boil, add the cornstarch dissolved in water. then stir. (Cornstarch will help thicken the sauce)

4. Add chicken then stir with sauce. Just let it boil until sauce thickened and chicken absorbed the sauce.Enjoy!!! you can garnish with sesame seeds (optional)...
